ST DAVIDS CITY HALL HIRE Facilities Booking Arrangements Terms And Conditions ST DAVIDS CITY HALL HIRE 2010 The City Hall, Memorial Hall and Kitchen facilities are available for hire, as well as the City Council’s crockery, cutlery, tables, chairs and digital piano. The Hall has a current Premises Licence the permitted hours of use between 10.00am and midnight with a maximum occupancy of 180 people in the Main Hall, including staff. The balcony cannot be used for seating. HALL HIRE CHARGES Charges are based upon an hourly rate for either community or business use with vat included.COMMUNITY/ CHARITABLE FUNCTION RATE prices inc17.5% vat from 1.1.2010 (will increase January 2011 for 20%vat) City Hall £6.05 (£6.18)per hour - with kitchen £7.28 (£7.44) per hour Memorial Hall £3.64 (£3.72) per hour - with kitchen £4.87 (£4.98) per hour BUSINESS RATE City Hall £9.69 (£9.90) per hour - with kitchen £10.92 (£11.16) per hour Memorial Hall £6.05 (£6.28) per hour - with kitchen £7.28 (£7.44) per hour Notes: When using the kitchen, this has to be hired for the entire period of use of the hall. No separate charges are made for heating. Electricity meter (£1) is used for payment for electricity for kitchen items, no charge for gas cooker. EQUIPMENT HIRE Furniture, crockery, glasses – there is no charge for hiring these items but there is a returnable deposit of £10 against damage. Digital Piano - this is for hire on the premises only, with a £50 bond to be paid in advance and the user approved by council in advance.
