The general conditions are:-
1. Terms of employment will be based on the standard Society of Local Council Clerk’s Contract of Employment (37 hours per week).
2. Pay is based on National Association of Local Council’s scale LC1 spinal point 18 – 21 currently £18,070 – £20,138 pa pro rata, dependant on experience.
3. Start Date: 1st February 2018.

A Choice Based Lettings allocations policy has operated in Pembrokeshire since 2006. It is used jointly by Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Housing and Wales & West Housing Association. It provides households seeking social housing in Pembrokeshire the opportunity to choose the property they want to live in.
COMMUNITY AWARD 2016
The Community Award 2016 was presented to Mrs Gwen Lyons by the Mayor and City Council as representatives of the citizens of St Davids, who wish to recognize the fantastic amount of voluntary work that she has undertaken for this community over many years, unstintingly supporting so many voluntary organisations, in particular the Evergreens and the elderly, the annual Over 50’s Eisteddfod, and also for so successfully holding the role of treasurer to St Davids and District Churches Together.
Pembrokeshire Association of Community Transport Organisations (PACTO)
Pembrokeshire’s Community Transport services help people and groups who don’t have access to their own transport and who don’t have or can’t use conventional public transport services.
The Porthstinian Boat Owners Association are collating evidence to establish a Public Right of Way along the steps at St Justinians. If you have used this route as of right within the last twenty years please could you complete the Public Right of Way User Evidence Form below, and return it to the Voyages of Discovery office, High Street, St Davids.
Whitesands Passes 2017
Permanent resident passes and season tickets for non residents will be available from Peter Lavin in the Memorial Hall or City Hall on the following dates:
Monday 13th February 10am – 12noon and 5pm – 6pm
Wednesday 15th February 10am – 12noon and 5pm – 6pm
Friday 17th February 10am – 12noon and 5pm – 6pm
Saturday 18th February 10am-12noon ONLY
After these dates, passes and season tickets can be bought from Peter in the attendant’s hut at Whitesands car park.
Resident passes are £8 per pass. To be eligible you must live in St Davids permanently, be on the electoral roll and show your driver’s license.
Season tickets cost £60. Season tickets for disabled badge holders are £40.
Allotments are available to rent annually via The St Davids Allotment Society.
There are a small number of Allotment Plots available out at our field on the Whitesands road.
Full plots are 8m x 15m for a rent of £30 per year, and half plots of 7m x 8m for £15 pa, available to both experienced and beginner growers alike. New members are welcome.
All plots will need hard work on a regular basis to bring in to production, but it is therapeutic and rewarding in many ways. The site is in a beautiful quiet location, with a friendly group of non-competitive veg growers. We all use organic growing methods, and no herbicides or artificial fertilizers are allowed.

St Davids Outdoor Market
The St Davids City Council’s outdoor market takes place on the Cross Square every Thursday from 1st March onwards through to October. The aim of the market is to promote local produce and crafts and each week the market offers a wide range of food, drinks, plants, gifts and crafts that have all been locally produced. Bishop’s Palace Passes
Passes to the Bishop’s Place are available to permanent residents of St Davids free of charge. The passes are available from the Clerk and require a standard passport photograph. Please note that free admission to the Bishop’s Palace will only be allowed when a valid pass is shown. The passes are valid for 3 years from the date of issue but are not normally valid for Cadw events when standard admission fees apply.
